As a computer science and engineering student at the University of California Davis, I completed software courses such as OOP, data structures, algorithms, software engineering, operating systems, programming languages and tools, computer security and artificial intelligence as well as hardware courses like computer architecture, circuits, and embedded systems.
Outside of my studies I pursue software engineering by developing programming skills through certificates in web development from freeCodeCamp, mobile development with Flutter, and personal projects using JavaScript and C++. Recent projects I have undertaken are developing this portfolio website, working as a full stack engineer (front end emphasis) on the CycleGuard project, and an embedded system game called Mind Invaders.
As manager of the Esports Program at UCD I oversaw the operation of twenty five people across various roles. My primary responsibilities included meetings, presentations, training, and conflict resolution. Here I refined my communication and leadership skills through the process of transforming the program into a successful competitive entity while identifying and resolving problems.
